Mmmm...Cookie Cakes!

So, I was going to get on here and complain about poor professors. Actually, I would not even consider them professors. I will just stop there and bite my tongue. Boy, am I a competitive, hothead when it comes to sports most things.

Instead, I am just going to say that I have one week of classes left. I CAN DO THIS! I can't believe that my sophomore year is coming to an end. I will do a full recap post once I edit all of the pictures. This is all too surreal. It is all too bittersweet. I love my school and the friends I have made, especially this year. I can't wait to go home and be with friends and family, but I will defiantly miss my life down here. I have met so many great people and have made friends that will last a lifetime. Even though this wasn't my first pick in school, and probably never will be, I am so happy that I am here. It's funny to think where life takes us.

Oh, by the way, I love cookie cake.

Nothing Like A Home-Cooked Meal.

I love breakfast. It is my favorite meal, although I rarely rise early enough to eat it, or I am in a rush and grab a piece of fruit to tide me over until lunch. Whichever my reason for not always consuming it (which is probably a good thing), breakfast food still remains my all-time favorite. If I had it my way, I would eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It would never get old. Never.

My parents are notorious for their fabulous breakfasts. I wish that one day I can cook as well as they can. I guess I better start learning so that I don't starve, because lord knows the only thing I can make is mac and cheese and cereal. I am going to make one hell of a wife one day. One morning during spring break me and one of the Bests made breakfast, in high hopes to make it as well as my parents do. My littlest brother helped out too--he is just precious. She (the Best) and I made our first gravy..ever! If you would ask us, we don't think it turned out half bad. While she did mostly the gravy, I went to chopping up some fruit for a fruit medley that consisted of plums, strawberries and mango. Everything turned out pretty tasty. Oh, how I love nothing more than a home-cooked meal. Especially when it is breakfast. Nom nom nom.

I Wouldn't Mind 32° All Year Long, Especially In The Summer.

Have you ever been to a yogurt bar? It is probably one of my most favorite things EVER. If I could, I would eat at a yogurt bar everyday. So, thank the heavens that there is one less than a mile from campus. 32° was the first yogurt bar introduced to me this past summer and I instantly fell in love. All of the flavors tasted marvelous, so great in fact, that I had the worst time choosing between them. Blueberry and Island Coconut really tore at me from within, but I ultimately went with Island Coconut. Then I loaded copious amounts of fruit on top, with a hint of raspberry drizzle. I tried to be good to myself by shying away from the sweet stuff and just sticking with fruit. But, boy so I love fruit. The coconut yogurt complimented the fruit well and I had this, "tropical breeze, lying on a hammock in the sand by the ocean" feeling while eating my yogurt. I soon realized that I was still sitting in the quaint yogurt bar. Though, I really wish I was in a hammock. That sounds lovely right about now.

My Addiction: Chocolate

Just about any chocolate I will consume, but lately Dove Milk Chocolate and I have been pretty much best friends. Chocolate is my weakness. I always tell myself that it's okay to eat one square inch, but it never is just one. One turns into two and then, before I know it, turns into six. I'm not even upset about it though. I love chocolate and chocolate loves me and that is all that matters, an unconditional love. What is your weakness? You want to know my most favorite part about eating Dove Chocolate? Well, even if you don't want to know my favorite thing about it, I'm going to tell you anyways. Yep. It's gonna happen. Well, anyways, I love opening the foil, ever so gently, in hopes that the foil wont tare. I then take a coin and smooth out the foil as best as I can. Then I read what has carefully enclosed my chocolate prior to it's consumption. Whatever saying the wrapper beholds puts a smile on my face. It just gives me another hop in my step. It's like my own personal, daily fortune cookie. I love it, but then it becomes a game. I just keep eating and reading one after the next. Then, like I said before, in no time I have eaten a fourth of the bag. But still, it doesn't phase me. Someone's got to eat it. Right?
Make every day a holiday.
(please ignore my horrid nail polish. this girl needs to give herself a manicure)
Also, to explain the blur, these photos were taken on my phone.

I Am No Longer A Teenager.

Yesterday was my birthday! It was such a great day entirely. I spent the early hours of my birthday with my girl friends, who counted down the minutes until my big day. It was great being with them when the clock struck 12 and getting chocolate icing in my hair and face, also while listing to the Dixie Chicks. Okay, it wasn't so fun getting icing in my hair, but at least it tasted good. Right? Then I went out on a mini shopping spree with one of the bests. For dinner I had my fav, meatloaf. I love that stuff. Thanks to a special boy who made it specially for me. Back at home with my parents and brothers my mom bought me my favorite cake in the world, Stephanie's Red Velvet Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. OHMYGOD! I just love that cake, if you have never tried it before, you must. Right. Now. It is that good. I then caught the latest Sherlock Holmes, which was fantastic. I couldn't decided if I liked the first one or this one the best. So, I left it at a tie. It was such an awesome day. Thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday and a special thank you to those wonderful people I spent it with.

However, I am counting down the days until my 21st. Only 354 more days.

Below is a picture of my cake I adore. It is mouth-watering delicious. Perfection.

Homebound.

I am going home today to see my marvelous friends and family. I. Cannot. Wait. Ahh, I am so excited to eat my mother's breakfast (Dad chips in too). It is famous with all my friends back home. She makes the best biscuits and gravy around and some darn good pancakes. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I might just gain 25lbs on this visit home. Well, I hope that doesn't happen because I have a wedding to attend on Saturday. I paid a lot of money for that bridesmaids dress and I would like to fit in it as I walk down that isle and dance the night away.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I will post the wedding photos asap. Any big plans for you this weekend?
