I understand that people say you must keep the real meanings of holidays in mind...but...I love Easter baskets! The colors of Easter just make me happy all around, and this year I couldn't be home for Easter. So, my mom sent me an Easter basket, which made me so happy because my it was in my actual basket that we use every year. Also, Nick's mom sent me a basket as well! She had it filled to the brim with chocolate covered strawberries, white chocolate raspberries, chocolate covered pretzels, well basically the bag had everything chocolate. How gorgeous are the strawberries?! They were delicious!

I Might Regret Sharing This Later.
I was able to go home for about 2 days for Easter break. I had to leave home to head back down to school to work, bright and early on Saturday, so I didn't exactly spend Easter with the family. I was kind of bummed that I wouldn't spend the holiday with my family, but I would never take back those two days I spent with them. We all met up with my dad to have lunch and then my mom and brothers ventured over to the Cincinnati History and Natural Science. I hadn't been there for ages, so it was fun to explore the museum again. I absolutely loved the Natural Science part. My family didn't exactly obey the rules of no touching or staying within the boundries. We have pictures to prove it. Hey, at least we didn't get tossed out.
For those of you who don't know this little tidbit about myself, I love wooly mammoths. Scratch that, I am OBSESSED with wooly mammoths. They are my favorite animal, and please don't start the whole "they're extinct" argument. For example, in high school a boy did a speech on a wooly, and I cried. Not just a little tear shed, I was in a full-out cry of happiness with tears rolling down my cheeks. You don't know what embarrassing is until you have that exact boy stop in the middle of his speech to ask you if you are okay and all the people around you are laughing. Ya, it's that bad. In fact, the picture I have standing in front of the one above, I am not going to share with you. Why you ask, because I was swelling up with all kinds of emotions and on the verge of tears. I love wooly mammoths.
Isn't the size of this tree rediculous. Just to put things into perspective, my brother is about 6ft.
See, like I said, we did not stay off the exhibits. Oops.
Okay, so I explained above on my passion for woolies (that's what I like to call them). So, you should already expect that even if this was nearly impossible to get to and I had to literally crawl through the exhibit, I was going to get a picture with that dying wooly. Maybe it is wrong not stay within the railings, but at that moment of time..I didn't care. Sorryimnotsorry. Sharing my love for woolies with you is a big deal, hence my post title. I may regret sharing my obsession unconditional love for them. Oh well, too late to look back now.
Yep, you caught us. Proof that we crawled under the railing. Most of these photos were from the ice age exhibit. It was the only exhibit we didn't stay within the path. Plus, it looks like you are free to roam..I think. I mean, come on, how could you pass up a picture with a buffalo?! The ground sloth was pretty awesome too. And by awesome, I mean HUGE!
This was one of the only photos I have of the History side of the museum. It covers the entire history of Cincinnati and this, I believe, was the first riverboat in the area. Don't quote me on that, I honestly just thought it would make a lovely picture.
There you go! That was my shortened Easter break at home with my family. Other than our venture to the city, we spent a majority of our time at home watching movies together. Oh, how I love family movie nights. They are the best. How was your Easter break?

Happy Easter Loves!
I greatly miss being with my family and dyeing eggs this year for Easter. Too bad I had to work Easter brunch down here in Kentucky, instead of being home for the holiday. I just adore the natural egg dye from Dreamy Whites. Why is everything so much more awesome when it is, al naturale? (you gotta say it in a cool accent). For those of you spending your day with your families, have a blast! Or, even if you are by yourself on this holiday, do something fun! Every year my family makes resurrection rolls. Have you ever heard of those? They are DELICIOUS! I could eat six of them (probably more). What are your family traditions? Feel free to share. Happy Easter everyone!

Running For A Balloon.
The weekend was great, but flew by, don't you think? I will fill you in on the dets of my weekend later in another post. For now, I shall catch up with everything from this last week. So, as we all know, it was Valentines day last week. My Best turned 20 and I couldn't wait to spend the weekend with her and the other Best. I spent all week packing and getting ready for the trip up there. I did such a wonderful wrapping job on the Best's gift. It looked just fabulous (I will post photos of that too later on).
I had to make an unexpected, but needed, visit back home on Monday for a doctor's appointment. Well, while I was home I took my brothers out to find cute little gift for their girlfriends. One ended up getting flowers, while the other brother bought some candy. Keep in mind they are in high school, so we were keeping the Valentine's Day gifting pretty simple. Just so you know their girl's loved their gifts, big sister knows best). While making our trip to the store I decided to visit Nick (the "man friend" for those of you who don't know) while he was at work. He was beyond shocked, since I was suppose to be at school (it's hard to surprise him).
Later that night, as I was sleeping silently in my bed, I get a message from Nick saying that I should probably go look at my car. So, I stumble out into the freezing cold to find this cute, little, skydiving turtle balloon with a little note attached to it. It was too cute. I ran inside to grab my camera so I can take some photos (yes, one of my first thoughts when I saw it was "I should blog about this"). As I am taking photos my neighbor walks over to tell me that he saw Nick tying this balloon to my car, but since it was dark he didn't know what Nick was doing. So, my neighbor thought he was breaking into my car and trashing it so when Nick got in his car to drive away, my neighbor took off on foot after his him. Nick sat at the stop sign at the end of my street for a bit, so my neighbor almost caught up to his car, but then Nick took off (he had no idea my neighbor was chasing him...on foot). So my neighbor walked back and was going to tell us about it in the morning, but as he was walking back he realized it was just a balloon..and Valentine's Day. Everything suddenly made sense. I laughed so hard as he told me all of this. I wish I actually witnessed the whole thing, darn it.
So, I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day everyone, or at least, a good story to tell.

Super Valentines Are The Best To Receive On Valentine's Day!
Uh, why didn't I think of these? Dumb move on my part, I went with Justin Bieber over these bad boys. If only I found these sooner. Click here for the how-to on making them.
It's that time of year again. I have never been one to hate Valentine's Day, but I have never been overly thrilled about it either (Christmas is my holiday of all holidays). I have fun sending Valentines to those I hold dear to me (only how much cooler would I have been if I sent out super valentines, damn it). I hope all of you have a love-filled holiday. Before I go, I would love to wish one of the Best a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! She is now as old as the rest of us. I can't wait to be reunited with the Bests this weekend. I've missed them. Here are some more Valentine's Day findings for those who just can't get enough. Or those who are procrastinating at work, in class, with life (I am usually procrastinating with all of the above).
The cutest couple bowls that are so good together.

Don't You Have A Little Class To Go With That Mustache?
You have better checked yourself at the door, because if you don't have a stash then you have to dash. The Mustashio Bashio party I had over the weekend with my friends was a total blast. Everyone was required to wear a mustache at all times. I don't know how familiar you are with sporting a mustache, but let me allow you in on a little tidbit: mustaches make it is almost nearly impossible to smile, terribly difficult to drink, a hell of a time to keep food out of it while eating, sweaty and itchy. However, the whole mustachepalooza was fantastic. What a night.
Black mustaches are all the rage. Obviously.
She had the best suspenders, candy cane! Also, her mustache stole the show. It was phenomenal.
See, everyone loved the big, gray mustache.
I would advise you to throw a party with your friends where there is only one rule: YOU MUST WEAR A MUSTACHE. It was great to be able to spend time with my bests. I missed nights like that with my girls. Also, I wanted to give the hosts a shout out. She went above and beyond, everything turned out spectacular!
How was your Holiday weekend? Have you ever attended a mustache bash? I will posts more pictures later of Christmas day and such.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
It's A Wonderful Life. I could seriously watch that movie every day of my life if I chose to do so. It is such a classic that never gets old. It makes me realize the importance of the little things and to cherish them with all your heart. I am so blessed to have the people in my life that I do. My family is so great and we always share many laughs and tears, mostly laughs though. I am so entirely grateful for my friends, especially my bests. Without them in my life I don't know who I would be or where I would be in life. Words can not express the love I have for them all. Thank you for all of your support, love, friendship and everything else you have given me. I truly cherish every moment I have spent with you.
Have a Merry Christmas everybody! I hope it brings you an abundance of joy and happiness.

Dear Santa..I Mean Parents.
I hope that I didn't spoil the fun for you Santa believers out there. Honestly, if you ask me, there is a Santa Clause. But, who am I kidding, the news was broken to me years ago that mom and dad buy a vast majority of my gifts. Though, I still leave out milk and cookies (and reindeer food) just for his arrival. Here is my Christmas list! I have been an extra good girl this year. Some of the gifts are already taken care of thanks to Black Friday. Boy do I love that day! Since my birthday is so close to the holiday I tend to combine both my Christmas list and my birthday wishes. What are you hoping to get this year?

Perfect Banner For The Holidays
As I blogging (as always) I stumbled across Katie's Pencil Box where she posted the cutest Christmas lyric banner ever. She shared how she created her awesome wall art, which is perfect for the holidays. Check out her post about it, she is so creative! She also added a link to where you can download and print out the letters yourself. Thank you Katie, I love the idea!

Winding Down.
That's my little puppy Bow, well not so much puppy. That was taken the exact day we got her a year ago. I understand that she is technically still a puppy, but she is not longer a quite, small, puppy breath, baby anymore. Yeah, she is definitely not quite by any means, or small for that matter. We should change her name to Pork Chop or Chunk.
It is almost time for Christmas and I cannot cannot wait! For those of you Bah Humbuggers I am one of those people you hate during the holidays. Yes, I am guilty of listening to Christmas music all year round and I want to decorate my house/tree before Thanksgiving. I am a proud Christmas time lover. Now all I need is lots of snow. Some of my friends that go to school more up north than I got a some flurries today and to say the least, I am beyond jealous.
